Why Your Support Matters

The response to STAUNCH has been truly heartening — thank you.

It’s clear how much people care about the Upper Nene Valley and the communities around it. But standing up for this special corner of the countryside takes real resources, and we need your continued help to do it.

Every penny goes directly into the work. A little covers leaflets, newsletters and outreach — kept low thanks to generous local businesses — but most of what we raise funds legal expertise when it counts. Right now, we have a barrister representing us at a major planning inquiry into large-scale commercial development that could significantly change the valley and its villages forever.

A small amount also covers essentials like insurance and our membership with organisations such as CPRE.

It’s worth saying: every Director and volunteer gives their time freely. No one claims expenses. So when you donate, it goes exactly where it’s needed.
