STAUNCH would like to send out a huge THANK YOU to all of you how attended the meeting last night at Corby Cube. It really was the sea of green we were hoping for as around 70 residents attended and we know many more watched the meeting on line.
Our first hurdle is over- the application has been refused – but to those who witnessed events you may have realised that the Planning Officer was attempting to water down the reasons for the refusal- even though he knew there were strong reasons – so NNC can do another Wood Lodge Solar Farm and step back from defending this application to avoid costs to the Council. STAUNCH members are working on this now.
In anticipation of STAUNCH being left to defend the application alone – again – we need everyone to redouble their efforts to support our planned Fund Raising events.
Ideally not only do we need to pay the barrister- we need money to pay for expert surveys to be done to counter the mistruths that are being accepted as as truth!
